  7.     Lights! Camera! Lawsuit! Private lives can suddenly become
  8. painfully public when the video camera is turned on, and this
  9. time the scene was particularly steamy. All the trouble started
  10. last summer, when Hollywood heartthrob ROB LOWE went to Atlanta
  11. to attend the Democratic National Convention. According to a
  12. lawsuit, the 25-year-old actor wasn't just politicking during
  13. his stay in the city.

  15.     An Atlanta mother alleges that Lowe picked up her
  16. 16-year-old daughter at a trendy downtown nightclub, then took
  17. her and a 22-year-old woman back to his hotel room. The result,
  18. says the mother, was a little homemade porn. Lowe had no comment
  19. but, judging by copies of the videotape that were circulating
  20. last week, the ensuing romp was hardly Oscar material -- or even
  21. a candidate for a summer rerun. The reviews, however, could turn
  22. out to be downright unfavorable for Lowe. The Brat Packer's
  23. alleged performance may get the thumbs-down from Georgia
  24. officials, who were investigating the case for possible criminal
  25. charges after the girl's mother filed a civil suit against the
  26. star.
